The canteen was chosen because of its low price and large capacity. When it comes to the cost, it's obvious that the product is budget-level – from the original packaging, to the unpleasant-smelling cover, to the plastic itself, although the latter is not as bad as it might seem. The capacity is definitely an advantage – it holds a lot of water, which is enough for my dog and means I don’t need to bring extra containers. The canteen can be attached to a belt, but with heavier loads it’s not very comfortable; attaching it to a backpack using the MOLLE system works much better. Overall, I rate the product a solid 3.
