The pointer works great. It is very precise, and sometimes when the detector doesn't indicate the exact location of the find, the "carrot" handles it without any problems. I bought a good battery, so it lasts a very long time. The flashlight turns out to be very helpful when it gets dark. I definitely recommend this device.

The Nokta handheld pointer-type metal detector is designed for use in demanding conditions. The construction meets the IP67 standard, allowing operation both on dry land and underwater.
Sensitivity adjustment and 360° detection
The ability to adjust the sensitivity level allows precise tuning to the type of terrain and environmental conditions. Metal detection feedback is provided via sound or vibration. The detector tip scans in a full 360° range, making it easier to locate objects. Reversing the tip further increases the detection field. The entire mechanism is housed in a durable Hardshell casing, resistant to water, impact, dust, and dirt.
Built-in LED and battery power
The detector features a built-in LED flashlight to assist in low-light conditions. It also includes a localization function – after five minutes of inactivity, it emits a sound and LED signal to help find the device. Power is supplied by a 9V alkaline battery.

Even though my detector has a pinpointer function, this 'carrot' is really effective. It detects perfectly – iron from a greater distance, colored metals from a shorter one. You can search precisely with the tip or scan more broadly with the side. Due to my poor hearing, vibrations are important to me, and they work very well here. Big plus for the holster with a clip for the belt.
