A rain poncho made of polyester reinforced with Rip-Stop weave. The material is covered on the inside with a PVC layer, which, combined with bonded seams provides water resistance of 5000 mm/m2.
The large hood with a drawstring effectively protects your head from precipitation and wind, and the loose, roomy fit allows you to wear the poncho over any type of clothing and headgear.
Thanks to the metal holes on the edges the poncho can be used as a camping sheet and create shelter from rain and wind in the form of a canopy or makeshift tent. The ponchos can be connected to each other with snaps.
Folded in the included pouch, the poncho takes up very little space and weighs much less than a standard rain jacket.
WASP I is an innovative line of PHANTOMLEAF® CIV-TEC® camouflage patterns designed specifically for MIL-TEC®. PHANTOMLEAF® camouflage patterns are created through advanced digital image analysis of the terrain in which the variant is designed to provide camouflage. The algorithm used also takes motion and other variables into account, making the patterns well adaptive over a wide range of conditions. The WASP I Z1B variant will work best in rocky areas with low vegetation cover, such as tundra or parts of mountains above the tree line. It will also find use in those cities and industrial sites where concrete and steel structures predominate. It also retains its effectiveness with partial snow cover.

Despite negative opinions about this company, I decided to buy something from them again because of the camouflage (phantomleaf made the pattern available to only two companies, including Mil-Tec). To my surprise, I'm not disappointed. After sealing the seams on the hood, the poncho doesn't leak, it's very large, and the buttons seem sturdy. However, the cover fell apart immediately – the seams gave way at the first use. Aside from the weak cover and lack of sealed seams, the poncho is really comfortable. For greater convenience, I recommend waterproofing it with spray (the material is water-resistant but not hydrophobic and during a heavy downpour, it may eventually let water through) and securing the seams. Then, for this price, you get good protection from rain for yourself and your backpack. Additionally – I am over 180 cm tall and the poncho reaches slightly below my knees, so it's also worth protecting your pants and shoes; otherwise, you could end up with wet calves and feet.

The camouflage is truly excellent. It provides perfect protection against rain, which is key (sometimes you may notice a slight condensation on your back). Additionally, it holds warmth well. However, it is quite heavy and after about two hours of wearing it, you can definitely feel it.

Durable poncho made of coated material. Its actual waterproofness surpasses other ponchos and most tarps. It will perform well during heavy rainfall and can serve as a groundsheet under a tarp without fear of damage. The weight is relatively high, but it's a trade-off for sturdiness. It is indeed twice as heavy as standard models, but its waterproofness and durability significantly exceed those of lighter versions. It will successfully serve many times as a groundsheet under a tarp or a makeshift bivy. I definitely recommend this product and the Militaria.pl store.
