Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage design created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), as a component of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The goal was to develop a flexible camouflage pattern effective across diverse terrains and varying environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern features seven colors that smoothly transition between greens, browns, and beiges. This adaptation allows it to effectively blend into surroundings, taking on green hues in wooded areas, or adopting browns and beiges in arid regions. In Central and Eastern Europe, it particularly excels during autumn and in dry vegetative settings. MultiCam has earned international acclaim and is utilized by numerous military and special units around the globe. In 2010, it was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also available to civilians, making it a favored option among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
