I haven't noticed any issues with the flashlight. The batteries are installed correctly. I bought it for a rifle with RIS mount. The flashlight with the mount is a bit heavier than the pistol version.

Lightweight and handy flashlight equipped with XPE2-R3 LED for a maximum light output of 250 lumens.
The body is made of lightweight and durable aluminum alloy in black. The rough texture keeps the flashlight from slipping out of your hand.
The flashlight is equipped with three light modes (high, low and strobe), and is powered by a 18650 rechargeable battery (not included). Two 16340 rechargeable batteries or two CR123 batteries can be used as replacements.
A metal clip bolted to the housing allows you to hook the flashlight to your belt, pocket edge or gear strap. There is a hole on the flashlight's foot that allows you to hook a lanyard or safety line.

I do not agree with the previous review. I put in two CR123A batteries and they are not loose, the flashlight operates stably. There are three lighting modes available: strong, weak, and strobe.

I definitely DO NOT recommend this product. When using two CR123 batteries, the batteries are loose and move inside the flashlight, which even with a slight shake (let alone when running with the flashlight on a replica) causes the brightness and light mode to change on their own.
