The appearance of the product makes me wonder if it is really worth using it to protect a suitcase. Since even thicker bicycle cables can be cut with scissors, I’m not sure how this one will perform. I plan to check if it can be cut with nail clippers. It seems to me that this lock is more about psychological deterrence than real protection. Someone who really wants to get into the suitcase will probably manage to cut this lock with just any tool.
