The UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) are crafted from top-grade PoliCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane) with a weight of 220 g/m2, known for its excellent elasticity and resistance to abrasion and tears.
The unique design, reinforced seams, and materials used provide optimal freedom of movement. With numerous pockets arranged logically, these shorts are ideal for urban environments and outdoor adventures.
They feature ten practical pockets:
- two traditional ones at hip level with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs (two large ones with zippers and two smaller ones secured with Velcro),
- four located on the back (two large and two small pockets inside the large ones).
Instead of a button, a wide velcro closure offers 6 cm of adjustability. An elastic band inserted into the waist improves the shorts’ fit to individual body shapes. All zippers are made by the renowned Japanese company YKK.
The belt loops accommodate a belt up to 50 mm wide, with the front loops additionally designed for attaching items like a carabiner.

Durable material, performs well even in difficult conditions and you don’t have to worry about damage. The camouflage looks attractive in person. The clothing is comfortable and has a lot of pockets, which is definitely an advantage.

I already had long pants in this camouflage, so I decided to buy the shorts. The camouflage is unusual and rather rare. As usual, Helikon provides high quality workmanship. The shorts are lightweight, very comfortable, and functional. I am satisfied with the purchase.

These are another pair of pants from this brand that I've bought, this time in a short version. It's a proven product—very comfortable to wear. The fit is well-tailored to the silhouette, there are lots of practical pockets, and the workmanship is solid and flawless. According to the size chart, they're a little too big, but only slightly, which actually turns out to be useful, for example when cycling. I recommend this product.

To be honest, the back cut could be better because the material sticks out a bit strangely under the middle belt loop. Other than that, these are very solid shorts.

Very good shorts. Impeccable workmanship, practical cut, and excellent arrangement and number of pockets. They performed perfectly during the heat in Cyprus exceeding 40°C. I especially like the brush stroke camouflage. I sincerely recommend them!

Great shorts with many practical pockets; the open ones in the back let you quickly stash small items. The thoughtful organization makes sure nothing gets in the way in the pockets. Additionally, the perfect length for summer—other models pale in comparison.

These shorts are very comfortable and well-designed. Their length over the knee means you won't be too hot even on scorching days. The sturdy zipper and strong Velcro keep them securely in place. The pockets, slightly diagonal on both legs, are practical and comfortable. It's worth checking the size carefully—although I usually choose L, here it was safer to order XL. I definitely recommend them!

Very nice, short cut of the shorts. The pockets are convenient, spacious, and do not restrict movement or fit tightly around the legs. I am eagerly awaiting new color versions or other camouflages.
