Helikon UTP PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop Pants - Tiger Stripe

Tactical UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) pants sewn from high-quality PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric with a weight of 220 g/m2. This fabric is characterized by high resistance to abrasion and tearing, which ensures long-term use. Thanks to the well-thought-out arrangement of numerous pockets, the pants are suitable for both urban environments and outdoor activities.

The 220 g/m2 PolyCotton Stretch fabric consists of breathable cotton (50%), durable polyester (48%) and elastane (2%). It provides a great fit, while distinguishing itself by its resistance to mechanical damage, and is lighter and dries faster compared to all-cotton materials.

The reinforced Rip-Stop weave structure, with thicker threads forming a mesh, protects the fabric from further damage in the event of a hole or tear. 

The pants use 12 pockets:

• two classic pockets on the hips, with reinforced edges
• four on the thighs (two wide zippered and two narrow with Velcro)
• four rear pockets (two wide and two narrow, located inside the wide ones)
• two inner pockets in the groin area, ideal for a tactical flashlight or spare magazine

There are partitions at knee height, which allow insertion of protective inserts.

Wide Velcro replaces the traditional button, providing an adjustment of 6 cm. Stretch tape sewn into the waistband provides a better fit. The two front loops are equipped with additional loops, which allow to attach, for example, a carabiner.

Tiger Stripe is a series of camouflage designs that originated in Southeast Asia, with the most recognized version being the pattern developed in the Republic of Vietnam. Its design is inspired by the French Lizard pattern, modified for use in tropical environments. Tiger Stripe features irregular, brushstroke-like stripes in various shades of green and brown, as well as broader, grayish lines on an olive or khaki backdrop. This pattern is particularly effective in dense jungles and tropical forests, where it conceals the wearer's shape amid low and medium vegetation. Its camouflage ability hinders detection at short distances and allows blending into the dynamic, shaded backgrounds of vegetation. The name "Tiger Stripe" refers to the tiger's coat, as the pattern mimics the natural striped coloration, proving effective in breaking up contours in dense foliage.
