The pants are very well made and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return the XL long size because they turned out to be too short. It's a pity there's no XL XL long version—if it becomes available, I'll definitely buy it. The denim material is quite thick, so the pants are better suited for warmer days; that's the only downside.
Helikon UTP PolyCotton Rip-Stop Pants - Coyote
Tactical pants UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) made of high-quality PolyCotton RipStop fabric with elastane (60% cotton, 37% polyester, 3% elastane), which provides exceptional resistance to abrasions and tears. This fabric is lighter and dries faster than pure cotton, increasing comfort during use. The well-thought-out placement of multiple pockets makes this model perfect for urban environments as well as outdoor activities.
Combination of comfort and durability
A unique combination of military and civilian style – a discreet look combined with the functionality of cargo pants.
Modern cut, carefully planned seams, and high-quality fabric ensure great freedom of movement and durability.
12 practical pockets
This model offers twelve pockets, including:
- two classic hip pockets with reinforced edges
- four thigh pockets (two spacious with zippers and two narrower with Velcro closures)
- four back pockets (two wide with Velcro closures and two smaller ones inside the wide ones)
- two inner pockets near the groin, ideal for a tactical flashlight or spare magazine
Additionally, knee-height pockets allow for protective pad inserts.
Precise fit
Instead of a traditional button, a wide Velcro strap is used, allowing waist adjustment within a range of 6 cm. An elastic band sewn into the waist improves fit and enhances wearing comfort.
Two front belt loops have additional loops that can be used to attach a carabiner, for example.

Great jeans, I can recommend them. The pockets are functional and do not restrict movement; the thigh pockets don't hit your knees. It's a pity there aren't more intermediate sizes for people between two options – an additional size would significantly increase comfort. The denim version will be good for autumn, winter, and spring. Overall, I recommend them.

Extremely well made, absolutely comfortable fit, and very robust. By far one of the best pants I've had for outdoor purposes and the shooting range. Thanks to the arrangement and design of the numerous pockets, it also offers plenty of first-class storage space for various items. Always a pleasure, thank you very much!!!

The cargo pants are extremely comfortable and well-made. A huge advantage is the large number of pockets and the flexibility of the material, which makes them very comfortable to wear during activities. I definitely recommend them!

The pants have good pockets, which is a big advantage for jeans – they are functional and increase the comfort of wearing. The downside is the lack of intermediate sizes if someone has unusual measurements. Overall, the pants are comfortable and have a discreet appearance, so they'll be suitable for church, the woods, or the city.

I've already bought a second pair of pants from Helikon, the quality is pleasantly surprising, the pants look great, the fabric is durable, they have functional pockets and a well-thought-out cut. The knee pad area isn't even noticeable, depending on the color they can be worn as regular everyday trousers.

The pants are well designed, the pockets don’t hit your knees even when full, and their number is just right. There’s a bit of a lack of intermediate sizes, especially for people between standard sizes, as well as shorter inseam options, but that can be fixed by a tailor. You can tell there have been some savings made in production, which unfortunately affects the quality – if that weren’t the case, the pants would be much better. For people with more muscular legs, the pant legs may be too tight if you prefer a looser or more fitted cut.

Excellent workmanship, absolutely comfortable fit and very robust. By far one of the best pants I have had for outdoor purposes and the shooting range. Thanks to the arrangement and design of the numerous pockets, it also offers plenty of good storage space for various utensils. Unfortunately, the pants were no longer available in many colors in my size (I'm short and thick...), but that's not a big deal.

I am writing on behalf of my wife, for whom I bought these pants this time (she likes men's styles) and she is really delighted with them. She already has about five pairs in her collection, plus two trekking ones from Helikon. She often calls them 'pants-backpack' because you can conveniently store lots of things in them.

The denim pants are extremely comfortable, they even have more pockets than needed, and their placement is the same as in the UTP model. We'll see how the material holds up and whether it wears out quickly. Personally, I use these pants mainly in the city.

The tactical pants combine practicality with the look of everyday trousers. The addition of elastane makes them a bit stretchy during movements like squatting or kneeling. They are not as elastic as the OTP model, but also less stiff than the UTP Flex. The M81 camouflage looks great.
-
The pants are made of high-quality materials, they are durable, elastic, and very well designed. The only downside for me is the fastening at the waist – I would prefer a traditional closure instead of Velcro. Despite this, I have no hesitation in giving a rating of 5 out of 5.
-
The pants are very functional and comfortable to wear, and they have a lot of practical pockets. However, you should be cautious with greasy stains because they are hard to clean – this is a typical feature of Rip-Stop fabric.
-
These are the best trekking pants I’ve ever had! The pockets are great, the reinforcements are excellent, and they dry quickly. I have the same pair as my child and I am also very satisfied.
-
The pants are excellent in every respect – comfortable, well-tailored, and with plenty of functional pockets. They’re suited for cooler, dry days. A bit heavy as backup for a backpack, but the civilian appearance combined with cargo functionality is a big advantage. I recommend them!
