Helikon Utility Light Shorts - Mud Brown

Very practical and comfortable shorts! The Helikon Utility Light model fits great, has many pockets, and is lightweight yet durable. Excellent for summer, both for outdoor activities and everyday use.

Excellent shorts, they stretch very well, which is extremely useful during mountain trips – other, stiffer models would have torn long ago. Very comfortable, and an added bonus is the zippered pockets and a spot for a patch.

I'm 172 cm tall and weigh 94 kg, I chose size L, which is quite loose and comfortable. The pocket on the hip easily fits an iPhone 13 Pro in a leather case, so it's spacious. I don't know what the back pocket is for, but you can unfasten it during hot weather because it's made of mesh, so it can provide ventilation. I'm satisfied – I think I would also fit into size M, because L has a lot of room in the waist and legs, but they fit very well and do not restrict movement. The legs, unlike those of regular shorts from other brands, stick out more in the front than in the back, which fits better with anatomy and gives more freedom. The front pockets are very deep, almost the whole length of the leg. The price of 175.99 PLN is high, I would buy again for 129 PLN.

So far, all my orders from Helikon have been successful – and this time is no different. The combination of nylon and elastane has resulted in a lightweight, durable, and pleasant-to-the-touch material. A practical feature is the rear, horizontal pocket, perfect for a phone. I highly recommend it with a clear conscience.

This is already my second pair of these shorts. I bought them a bit blindly, but I already had experience with OTP or OTUS shorts made of similar material. The loose fit and freedom of movement are advantages, and the extra pockets will definitely come in handy in the future. With a waist circumference of 80-82 cm, size M is slightly loose, but you can adjust it with a drawstring or a light belt. I recommend products from this material by Helikon.

So far I’ve only done one workout in them. They rustle a bit with some movements, but they seem really solid, just like the OTP or OTUS pants. They give a lot of freedom, especially during leg exercises. We’ll see how they hold up after a few washes. For now, I am very satisfied.
