The underwear is fine, the size matches as well, but I have concerns about the packaging. It was packed in ordinary bags; I expected a gift, but did not receive any box. The description does not mention the lack of elegant packaging, and it should be nicer. Because of this, I have mixed feelings.
Bielizna termoaktywna Helikon US LVL 1 Black - komplet
Two-piece thermal underwear set by Helikon-Tex, featuring a long-sleeve shirt and leggings. Intended to be worn directly on the skin, this underwear serves as the base layer for the U.S. Armed Forces ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System). The lightweight and robust Helikon-Tex Quick Dry fabric efficiently wicks moisture away from the body.
Thermoactive Quick Dry material
The set comprises Helikon-Tex Quick Dry thermal knit fabric, made entirely of polyester. The material dries rapidly and effectively draws moisture away from the skin, ensuring thermal comfort even during vigorous activities. A unique fiber weave maximizes the evaporation surface. The underwear performs well with additional layers of the ECWCS system or other thermal garments, making it ideal for both cold and transitional weather conditions.
Shaped shirt
The shirt is designed with long sleeves featuring thumbholes, which ensure the sleeves stay in place during activity and keep the wrists warm. An extended back panel provides protection to the lower back and kidneys from the cold, particularly when squatting. Flat seams minimize the risk of skin irritation.
Fitted leggings
The leggings feature elastic cuffs at both the waist and ankles, ensuring a secure fit and helping to maintain body warmth. The material and design offer unrestricted movement. A traditional fly adds to the wearer's comfort. Flat seams minimize the likelihood of chafing.

Unlike other opinions, with a height of 183 cm and 74 kg, size M was too tight for me, which made squatting difficult and caused discomfort at the seams under the arms. The material is very light, but suitable for cooler days.
-
Comfortable and performs its job perfectly, especially during winter outdoor workouts. Washes well. I recommend it – Helikon quality.
-
No need to prolong – Helikon has repeatedly shown that it is one of the best and most reliable manufacturers. As a second layer, I have a random level 2 polyester and a uniform – comfortable up to 9°C. You don’t feel the wind, moisture is wicked away.
-
Comfortable, fitted, wicks moisture. Worth trying for this price. The thumb hole works average – it seems like it might tear soon, but overall everything is OK.

Full 10/10. This is already another set I've bought. You just need to be careful with size selection—in my opinion, it's better to order a smaller one. At my height of 1.8 m and weight of 78 kg, size S fits better than M.
-
Comfortable, lightweight, and quite warm. It worked well on Icelandic trails at the end of August (around 10°C during the day, close to 0°C at night). Big downside for the thumb holes – they're too tight and dig into the skin, I had to slightly cut them for comfort.
-
Thermal underwear set of great quality, as expected from Helikon. Intriguing fiber weave. At 183 cm and 80 kg, size M fits perfectly – nothing pinches, there is some room and it adapts well to the body shape. The seams don't bother at all. At this price, it's a very good choice, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

A good set of thermal underwear for skiing and mountain activities. It doesn't have to be very tight to work well. Provides comfort and warmth.
-
Excellent underwear. It keeps your body warm while efficiently wicking away sweat. It dries quickly, even after washing or getting wet. I have several sets and wear them from fall to spring (in winter together with level 2), and in summer I use them for sleeping bags.
-
It is very comfortable, does not squeeze. It provides great warmth on colder days, while at the same time allows air to pass through and wicks moisture. Perfect for biking, and also works well under a uniform. For temperatures below zero, it's better to choose LVL 2.

The product is fine. I rate the quality very highly, but the price-to-quality ratio is just a bit worse. I don't have many comparisons, but I once bought cheaper underwear and it was also fine, maybe even warmer. I feel good in this one, I really like the material. I recommend it for milder frosts, but for harsher cold, you may need something warmer.

This is exactly what I was looking for—lightweight long johns to wear under softshell pants for the transitional period, for temperatures between 0° and 10°C. It's a pity Helikon doesn't make them in coyote color—I would buy another pair!

This set really keeps you warm. I suggest taking a smaller size so it fits perfectly and doesn’t leave slack. At 1.8 m tall and 78 kg, size M was a bit loose, though still usable.

A very successful set. The clothing is light – I was initially unsure, but as a first layer it worked well during family outings in the mountains in January. Size S for my son (177 cm, 60 kg) and XS for the other (175 cm, 50 kg) – not tight, but doesn’t hang; for children who don’t like tight clothes, it’s ideal. My husband was also very satisfied with the sweatshirt. I recommend it!
