The jacket is great. I hesitated for a long time between the Woodsman model, but finally chose the Pilgrim because I found it at a good price. This is my first anorak and I must say it serves its purpose. As is typical with Helikon, the pocket layout is perfect. Even after purchase, the jacket proved itself during a mountain trip in the first snow. I don't quite understand their sizing. At 183 cm tall and about 83 kg, I wear the jacket in size M and the fleece in L. Unfortunately, I can also confirm one of the previous opinions – after just one trip with a backpack, the back of the jacket started to wear out. It's a bit disappointing for this brand.
The Pilgrim jacket is crafted from a durable, quick-drying material with spark-resistant properties, made up of 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane. The fabric's stretchability ensures unrestricted movement, and it can be waterproofed using wax for added benefit.
Specifically geared for hiking in unpredictable and tough weather conditions, this jacket has a longer cut to provide effective protection for the body, no matter how dynamic your movements are.
The Pilgrim Anorak is fitted with multiple practical pockets for easy gear management, featuring a total of seven pockets:
- two chest pockets with buttoned flaps,
- two napoleon-style pockets with organizers,
- two pockets on the shoulders,
- and a kangaroo pocket on the front.
The main kangaroo pocket is accessible from both sides with a zipper and has an insulated interior to warm cold hands. Further features include an adjustable hood with a visor, adjustable cuffs, underarm vents, and robust YKK zippers from the reputable Japanese brand.
Main features:
- made of highly durable DuraCanvas fabric,
- material resistant to sparks from a campfire,
- loops that allow you to attach your gear,
- "kangaroo" pocket on the front,
- underarm vents,
- adjustable hood and cuffs,
- Canadian-type buttons,
- YKK zippers.

This is my first anorak, and the pocket arrangement and their easy access are great advantages. Excellent ventilation. I’m curious how it will perform over longer use. Size XL fits perfectly for someone 170 cm tall and 108 kg, L was too tight ;)

I didn’t expect this jacket to be so great. Perfect for forest trips, doesn’t get soaked even after many hours of rain – water runs off and it dries very quickly. The pockets are practical and very roomy. The back of the jacket is extended, so it protects against wind and lets you sit outside comfortably. Size L is good for a tall and slim person. Highly recommend!

Very good jacket, I recommend trying it on before buying (I usually wear XL, but the anorak in size L fits perfectly) and impregnating it before heavier use. Otherwise, the jacket is great and has an attractive price. I recommend it.

The ideal jacket for heavy use in the forest – bushes are no problem. It has tons of practical pockets and many options for ventilation or keeping warm. It works great as an extra 'mitten' at the summit. Size S for 167 cm and 73 kg fits just right. The jacket is easier to put on when the armpit vents are unzipped.

This anorak is great. The material, color, pocket layout – everything is spot on. Unfortunately, even after exchanging from 2XL to 3XL, I didn't solve my problem – people with a bigger build and larger belly might have difficulties. Even with the maximum expansion at the waist it's tight, and trying to wear an extra layer underneath makes it worse. Maybe if the cut was more 'barrel-like', I'd wear it everywhere. After buying the 3XL, though, reason won and I'll have to look for other solutions or wait until 4XL is available. To sum up – it's worth buying a Helikon anorak as long as you can fit into it.

It's one of my favorite jackets for the forest, but it also works great in the city. The large number of pockets makes organizing and carrying gear easy. However, it's quite long, roomy, and heavy, so I wouldn't recommend it for summer.

The jacket made a great impression on me. I had doubts about the size – it's a bit narrow but long. I chose size S at 63 kg and 174 cm tall – overall, it fits. Wearing a fleece under it is not very comfortable, it's better to wear 'slippery' clothes underneath since you can take off the anorak together with them. I recommend it.

The jacket is made of very good material, the pocket layout is clever, and it doesn't restrict movement. I had to exchange it for a larger size because at 174 cm and 70 kg, size S was too tight.

A friend recommended the jacket to me and I don't regret the purchase! Very nice, stylish for bushcraft. Excellent workmanship quality. Another successful Helikon product. I recommend it – Paweł.

Very good jacket. The pockets are easily accessible, the buttons in the chest pockets are quite large, but thanks to the design (top flap) nothing falls out during removal. The mesh lining seems light, but easily withstands the load of items in pockets closed with zippers (two on the chest and the kangaroo pocket in the middle). Size XXL fits perfectly for 189 cm and 97 kg – at first I took XL, but it was too tight, so I exchanged for larger. The jacket is light, but the material is solid enough that with a t-shirt and cotton hoodie, I wore it comfortably at 0-5°C. Cuff adjustment and closed hood under the chin are important here, as the jacket insulates air between clothing layers well. I was surprised it’s so warm at this weight. Additionally, I can always add a layer, like thermal underwear, and then it would be even too warm with three layers. Great buy – very good quality, light, comfortable, and warmer than I expected.

I am very disappointed with this product – after just a few kilometers of walking, there was already chafing on the back from the backpack. I think the manufacturer has seriously lowered the quality of their products in recent years.
-
The jacket reminds me a bit of those from childhood, the so-called 'kangaroos' – hence a slightly nostalgic purchase. I wasn't disappointed – it's well-made, has a functional pocket layout, and slightly water-resistant material. I can use it confidently.

I considered buying the anorak for many months. Eventually, I got a birthday coupon and knew I'd use it for this product. I'm positively surprised – the anorak worked great during a kayaking trip, in the Faroe Islands, and I wear it regularly on cooler days. The well-designed pockets and loops often eliminate the need to take a waist bag or backpack on short outings. However, I feel the temperature range in which the jacket provides the right thermal comfort is somewhat limited. When it's cold, you need to wear something underneath. When the temperature approaches 20°C, it gets too warm.

A great choice for camping. The anorak – also known as a kangaroo jacket – has very thoughtfully designed pockets that allow you to pack a lot of things. The material is pleasant to the touch and solid.
