The OTUS (Outdoor Tactical Ultra Shorts) represent the most compact model of tactical shorts in Helikon-Tex’s Outback collection. Constructed from VersaStretch Lite material, they provide excellent lightness and breathability. Enhanced with a Teflon coating on the exterior, these shorts boast increased resistance against stains and dirt. Featuring a contemporary fit, strategically placed seams, and the chosen fabric, they ensure exceptional freedom of movement and durability. They strike a perfect balance between military and civilian attire.
Well-designed pockets
With an abundance of pockets and their strategic arrangement, these shorts are ideal for both urban settings and outdoor adventures. Helikon OTUS shorts boast 10 pockets:
- 2 traditional hip pockets
- 2 zippered pockets on the thighs
- 2 compact thigh pockets with flaps
- 2 rear pockets
- 2 compact pockets nestled inside the back pockets
Pants fastening
Replacing the traditional button, these pants come with a broad Velcro fastener that provides 6 cm of waist adjustability. To enhance the fit during squats and dynamic movements, an elastic band is integrated into the back of the waistband. The fastening is completed with a YKK zipper. At the bottom of the two front belt loops, extra loops are available for attaching a carabiner.
