Very nice jacket. Provides some extra warmth and protects well against wind. As for breathability, don't expect miracles—after all, it's Helikon. Works great for trips to the forest and camping. I'm 178 cm tall and weigh 83 kg—size M fits perfectly over a T-shirt.
Anorak jacket made of stretch softshell fabric StormStretch. The material protects against wind and breathes well at the same time. It will be great for hiking, for example. The fabric has been coated with a Teflon coating, so it protects against wind, and with regular DWR coating renewal also against light rain and snow.
The Mistral is worn over the head. It is equipped with a partial zipper, which makes it easier to put the jacket on and allows you to regulate the air flow under the garment. Air circulation is also aided by underarm vents. Velcro panels have been sewn onto the shoulders, allowing to attach any patch or emblem, such as a national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.
The advantage of the model are numerous pockets allowing to carry basic equipment. On the front, there is a large pocket with easy access from the top. A simple but practical organizer has been added inside the pocket. In addition, the jacket is equipped with two hip pockets and two on the shoulders.
Also worth mentioning are the adjustable hood and reinforcements on the elbows, which increase the mechanical strength of the areas most vulnerable to abrasion.
Main features:
- wind-resistant,
- 2-way stretchable,
- Teflon coating,
- Velcro panels that allow you to personalize the look of the jacket,
- "kangaroo" pocket on the front with internal organizer,
- pockets on the shoulders,
- underarm vents,
- YKK zippers.

It's a pretty good uninsulated softshell jacket, so it's suitable for various conditions. You can wear it over a T-shirt in summer, over a sweatshirt on colder days, or as a windbreaker layer in winter, worn over a down jacket; it also protects against damage, for example in dense forests. The Wildwood version has less green and more beige tones, making it more versatile—it looks similar to the photo.

Great softshell anorak. It has plenty of pockets, ventilation panels, and is well-made with top-quality materials. I definitely recommend it!

Thanks to its flexible construction, it’s perfect for hiking with a backpack, but for working around a campfire the Woodsman or Pilgrim models would be a better choice due to the type of fabric. It dries quickly, is very comfortable, and protects well against light rain and wind—I recommend it, great product.

The jacket effectively protects against light and moderate wind. The green version works well as a layer with thermal underwear underneath—you don't feel cold, and when it gets too warm, the underarm zippers provide proper ventilation.

Anorak made of softshell material, works well in all conditions, has a large pocket that, thanks to its size, can serve as a chest pack, and when transported in a backpack works similarly to a Windrunner. The material protects effectively against strong wind; I personally used it with OTP pants, which together provide protection against adverse weather, while also offering good breathability during long hikes.

I rate the product very highly. It's a pity I didn't get the size right, but the store offers a convenient exchange. At first glance, the anorak may seem less practical than a jacket with a single zipper, but only after using it can you appreciate the advantages of this solution.

The Helikon Mistral Anorak Softshell jacket in black is exceptionally sturdy! Top-class materials and very careful workmanship. It works perfectly as protection against wind and rain!

In my opinion, this is a very good jacket. The hood does its job well. During light rain and temperatures from 0 to 10 degrees Celsius, I wasn't cold or wet—at lower temperatures I wore a thin sweatshirt underneath, and on warmer, rainy days a heatgear-type T-shirt.

This is a really comfortable jacket. It's lightweight and doesn't take up much space when folded. The pockets with extra compartments are practical. It provides great protection against wind gusts and light rain, and an additional advantage is the zippers under the armpits. My only complaint is the hood, which doesn't have the best shape and doesn't look very good.

Great material and workmanship. I've been using it every day for several days now. The pockets on the sleeves are perfect for a phone or small items like keys. The front pocket is spacious and equipped with practical compartments. After impregnation, the jacket performs well even in light rain. I recommend it, very practical jacket.

A well-made, sturdy, and comfortable jacket. I definitely recommend it!

Great windbreaker jacket, very lightweight. I only wore it once, but I already know it meets my expectations. I had doubts about the size, but XL turned out to be spot on. Highly recommend.

Although I relied on the size chart and chose a slightly larger one, the anorak still turned out to be too tight, especially when I tried to wear a flannel or fleece underneath. For a man 179 cm / 90 kg, slightly rounded in the belly and with a broad chest, I think the ideal size is XXL – then putting it on and taking it off is easy and movement is not restricted. Additionally, the kangaroo pocket is great. I recommend it.

Very good product, it does its job. I definitely recommend it!
