The most important thing is that the hat, even though it is made of two layers of merino wool, remains thin, so it's great for warmer days or during more intense activity. It effectively wicks away moisture and dries quickly—very similar to fleece hats. It is quite roomy, elastic, and covers the whole head well, while taking up little space. The color matches other Helikon products in Adaptive Green and goes well with Coyote shades.
