At first, I was a bit disappointed with it—the hat is soft, pleasant to the touch, but rather thin. For extremely cold weather, like -23°C in Ukraine this year and icy wind, it probably won't work. However, it's more suitable for active movement; my head doesn’t sweat in it and breathes well. I work in security, so I move around periodically, sometimes indoors, sometimes outdoors, so it's convenient that I don't need to take it off inside since it doesn't overheat my head like most cheap acrylic or fleece hats, which make your head sweaty and then cold when you stop. At 0°C to -5°C, it's fine, but if there’s wind, it blows through; it really is a bit thin. You need to put on a hood, and maybe it will be okay even at -10°C with a jacket hood—just what you need, your head doesn’t sweat while moving. But if you just stand outside in it, it’s not great—it's best for active use and movement. I think for spring and autumn, it will be perfect.
