Helikon MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Uniform Set - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

A uniform set consisting of a shirt and pants in MBDU pattern and wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage. The set is made of NyCo fabric, which is a combination of nylon and cotton. The fabric has been additionally reinforced with Rip-Stop weave, which prevents tearing. The model is a set with parameters similar to the standard uniform of the Polish Army.

The set is made of high-quality material with a grammage of 225 g/m2, which is a combination of cotton (50%) and nylon (50%), reinforced with a Rip-Stop weave. This structure increases the material's resistance to abrasion and tearing, while thicker threads form a mesh that reinforces the fabric, preventing damage from spreading. As a result, the pants are suitable for demanding terrain, ensuring durability and comfort of use. The manufacturer has added an extra layer of VersaStretch fabric on the seat and in the crotch for even greater freedom of movement.

The shirt has four pockets:

• two chest pockets with zippers
• two on the sleeves at shoulder height

The pants have eight roomy pockets:

• two inset pockets on the hips with reinforced edges
• two back pockets with reinforced edges
• two large cargo pockets with button closures
• two smaller pockets at calf height with Velcro closures

Velcro strips have been sewn onto the pockets of the shirt to allow for the attachment of any emblems, such as national flags, unit insignia or morale patches, giving the shirt a personal touch. For better air circulation, mesh panels have been placed under the arms to improve breathability.

Instead of buttons, the pants are equipped with a wide Velcro fastener, allowing for adjustment at the waist to fit individual body types. The opening is closed with a zipper made by the well-known Japanese company YKK. Wide belt loops allow the use of belts up to 50 mm wide, ensuring stability even under heavy loads. The two front loops are equipped with loops for attaching small accessories. At the bottom of the legs there are elastic cords with stoppers for adjustment.

The wz.93 "Pantera" camouflage pattern is utilized by the Polish Armed Forces. This was the first camouflage design to be created and put into extensive use during the era of the Third Polish Republic. Introduced in 1993, the pattern integrates both mimetic and deforming features through the use of irregularly sized spots. Its color palette, composed of green, brown, and black, is tailored to the specific environment of Polish forests, making "Pantera" an optimal choice for activities within the native landscape. Uniforms featuring this camouflage are also part of the standard issue for students enrolled in Military Uniform Classes.
