I already have a few backpacks, but this one also tempted me. I use several Helikon products and I’m always satisfied with the quality. This backpack also met my expectations. It’s a bit 'baggy' – when empty it doesn’t look as impressive ;) but it’s very roomy and has plenty of extra spots for attaching gear or pouches. The straps are wide and comfortable. The reinforced back works very well. If you find it at a good price, it’s worth getting without hesitation.
Matilda backpack from the Bushraft Line survival series created in cooperation between Helikon and SurvivalTech. With a capacity of 50 liters it can accommodate a large amount of gear useful during a few days of off-road excursions.
The backpack is made of a combination of proven 500D Cordura material and high-quality 210D nylon.
The main compartment, with a capacity of 39 liters, and external pockets are secured with flaps, under which you will find an extension adjustable with drawstrings and stoppers. This prevents the contents carried in them from being lost and protects them from the ingress of mud and dust.
The use of MOLLE/PALS-compliant webbing, which can be found on the hip strap, sides and front of the backpack, as well as inside the main pocket, allows attaching many additional pockets and accessories to the backpack.
The side straps will prove useful for attaching a sleeping pad or tent. On the bottom of the backpack, on the other hand, you will find four straps, to which you can attach a sleeping bag or jacket after attaching straps or paracord.
The carrying system consists of a plastic-stiffened back with shock-absorbing cushions trimmed with breathable mesh, shoulder straps that fit the shape of the human body, and a detachable, wide hip strap.

This is the best backpack I've had so far – it worked well on the training ground, during marches, and on the border. It has a durable construction, no threads sticking out, and it doesn't let rain in. It was maximally loaded and weighed down, yet the material remained intact, and the plastic parts survive stepping on, slamming, and impacts. Despite having less capacity than standard mountain backpacks, I definitely prefer to use it over a military one.
-
Very good backpack, I use it for trips to various abandoned locations where it's easy to get tears. Despite this, it still looks like new. I recommend it.
-
A very good backpack, I didn’t expect such high quality. Wide, stiff straps. The color is a bit lighter than in the photo. Very spacious. I can wholeheartedly recommend this model.
-
I don't regret buying it. Thanks to using KSK points, I paid 290 PLN and in my opinion, it's hard to find something better for this price. The big advantages are the use of Cordura, capacity, the possibility to attach extra pockets, reinforced back, hip belt, and chest strap. I definitely recommend it.

Very solid, spacious, and practical backpack. After five outings with a load of 15-24kg, it performed excellently. It also works flawlessly in the forest and does not absorb moisture from the environment. It also survived transport in the airplane's baggage compartment without any damage.
-
It is very comfortable and roomy. The price may be a bit high, but it's worth paying extra for such product quality.

This is the best backpack I've had – it fits everything you need for a few days. Don't pay attention to the price, it's worth getting it. Helikon is a brand you can trust.
-
It is solid, can fit well to the figure, and the straps and suspenders do not cause discomfort.

Great backpack for trips. The thoughtfully designed frame makes it easy to pack for a two- or three-day outing in the woods. The external pockets are very spacious and easily fit, for example, a rolled-up jacket, food, or canteens. The main compartment is large and can fit even big sleeping bags, obviously after compression, and when you close the flap you gain even more space. The backpack has been used in various conditions – forests, mountains, kayaking, lakes – and not once did it fail, nor does it show any signs of damage.
-
The backpack proved itself during the first trips to the forest. At this point, I have no complaints. It has a solid construction, the main compartment is very spacious, and the pockets also hold quite a few things, so it's easy to organize all your gear. It's perfect for trips lasting 2-3 days. This is exactly the model I was looking for.

Bought at a promotional price. After the first trip – very positive impressions. The backpack will likely last a long time.

I thought about buying this backpack for a long time. I've been using it for almost two years now and haven't found any major flaws. It easily fits a tarp, hammock, sleeping bag, stove, hatchet, water, and still has some room left. Now I'm ordering additional scout or E&E pouch pockets so I can access my gear easily without having to look deep into the backpack. The hip belt is very comfortable.
-
Fantastic, especially for people who like to have everything within reach. The side adjustment straps make even a larger tent hold on perfectly as if it were part of the backpack. The hip belt is very comfortable and can be easily adjusted thanks to the molle system. The main compartment is much more spacious than I expected – I get the impression the backpack offers more space than the declared 35 liters. By adding a drop bag and E&E pocket, you gain even more space. I recommend it to everyone who doesn’t go for ultralight gear.

The backpack is based on the proven Alice design, adapted for bushcraft needs. It performs great when used in the forest.
