It's something between a sweatshirt and a jacket. Overall, it's pretty good but not perfect. I'll start with the advantages: the cut is ideal for me – the front is shorter (which makes it easier to access trouser or fanny pack pockets) and the back is extended, which protects the lower back from drafts. The collar wraps around the neck great and provides pleasant warmth in that area. An additional advantage is the adjustment options – collar, bottom, and cuffs. However, the Velcro on the cuffs doesn't seem very durable; maybe consider elastic bands or snaps instead? I also like the reinforced areas on the shoulders and elbows, especially useful if you often wear a backpack. There are just enough pockets, but their functionality could be improved. You can't fit a phone in the sleeve pockets, which is a big minus because almost everyone needs it. Even the dedicated slots in the chest pockets are too small for larger smartphones; it might be a good idea to sew in an extra material inside for an additional pocket. At the moment, the phone moves freely in the chest pocket, and I'm worried it could fall out when putting hands in. Plus for the presence of D-rings. A downside is that only the main zipper is from YKK, the rest are probably no-names. As for thermal comfort, that's individual – it keeps me warm up to about -2°C (for daily wear in the city), but with an extra sweatshirt and t-shirt. Below this temperature, it starts to feel cold.
Warm, soft, zippered fleece jacket with a high 11 cm collar.
The 390g/m2 material provides thermal insulation for even the most severe frosts, enabling simultaneous evacuation of excess heat and moisture (sweat) released during exercise. Increased breathability and thermal exchange with the environment are facilitated by zippered armpit vents. The directions of opening and closing of the zippers are selected so that the owner has no problems with their independent operation.
Thanks to the generous cut, a thinner sweatshirt can be worn under the jacket, but even a bulletproof vest will fit. The back part is slightly elongated to protect the kidneys from being blown up, but the whole jacket is quite short - mainly so as not to impede access to pockets and equipment carried on the trouser belt.
The jacket has six pockets:
- two chest ones closed with zippers,
- two on the sleeves at shoulder height,
- one on the left sleeve above the wrist,
- one so-called poaching pocket - on the back under the cross with two independent accesses - from the right and left side.
Pockets on the shoulders have soft Velcro (Velcro) allowing to attach a properly prepared patch. In the upper part, the fleece has a high, 11 cm collar to protect the neck from unfriendly weather conditions.
The sleeves from the wrist to the elbow have been reinforced with a strong material, while the elastic cuffs have been replaced with a velcro-fastened patch, which makes it possible to adjust the size depending on the thickness of the wrist, as well as whether the user is also wearing gloves or, for example, a watch.
The ECWCS garment should be used to protect the body from chilling due to airing or getting wet.

The Helikon Liberty fleece in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camo is a fantastic option for colder days. The material is solid, provides a lot of warmth, and feels pleasant to the touch, while also wicking moisture well during intense movement. The cut of the fleece is well-fitted and doesn't restrict movement, making it suitable for both outdoor use and everyday wear. The large number of practical pockets and durable zippers are big advantages, especially for people heading to the mountains or the shooting range. Overall, it looks very professional and deserves the highest marks.

I chose the Helikon Liberty sweatshirt in Jungle Green and I am very satisfied with it. The material is fleece with a weight of 390 g/m², which keeps you warm and at the same time provides good ventilation during movement. The cut is well thought out: the high collar, adjustable sleeves, and waistband work perfectly. The Jungle Green color looks good both outdoors and in the city. I recommend this sweatshirt as a versatile option for cooler days.

The fleece is pleasant to wear and warm, although the weight could be higher. Very well and solidly sewn, durable – although the Velcro on the cuffs wears out rather quickly due to the stiff rubber Velcro. The pockets are very spacious – you can fit even a half-liter bottle or a book. I used it on various occasions and it worked perfectly. It looks universal, doesn't attract attention as military-like, but also doesn't look like a typical civilian outfit.

Very comfortable and warm fleece sweatshirt. The material is pleasant to the touch, the zipper works flawlessly. Well crafted. In addition, attractive colors and a good price. Another plus for the Polish manufacturer and support for the domestic economy.

A very comfortable and warm fleece sweatshirt. The material is pleasant to the touch, the zipper works smoothly, and the whole thing is very well made. Additionally, nice colors and an attractive price. Extra points for being made by a Polish manufacturer and supporting the national economy.

The jacket is very well made and fits perfectly. The zippers work flawlessly. The pockets are placed very conveniently, and additionally, the chest pockets have ports for a power bank cable or headphones and a D-ring for keys so you don’t lose them. This is truly an ideal product.

For cold days, you won't find anything better! Warm, well-stitched, and the pockets are brilliant. Watch out for sizing – I usually buy M or L, here S fits me. A successful purchase.

The sweatshirt itself is very good – both the Liberty and Patriot models (they only differ by the hood). The material used is pleasant to the touch, thick and substantial. I have no major complaints as long as I don’t use it daily as a jacket substitute (fall, winter, spring). After about a year, the velcros at the sleeves stop holding well (the only option is to remove them so they don't dangle). The zipper seems sturdy, but right after the velcro problems, trouble starts with zipping up from the bottom (the plastic wears out and gets caught too deep in the mechanism). This isn't a single-item issue – I experienced it with three sweatshirts, and my friends confirm the same state with over a dozen pieces (the velcros always break, the zipper fails in about half, depending on use).

The fleece is very warm and quite thick. The materials are of excellent quality, and size M fits perfectly (I’m 175 cm and 78 kg). I think it will work great even at low temperatures. I recommend it, it's worth its price.

The Helikon Liberty fleece is already a classic among fleeces. Proven in terms of material, cut, and functionality, as confirmed by positive reviews. The sizing is a bit large, which is why I choose one size down (when purchasing another color next time). Very favorable price-to-quality and workmanship ratio. I hope it remains in production without changes to parameters and material type.

The fleece is very good quality, the size chart is accurate. Standard quality for Helikon. Warm, practical, I definitely recommend it.

Well-made, thick fleece. My wife, although always cold, says it really keeps her warm. Typical Helikon quality! Delivery was lightning fast. I definitely recommend it.

Very pleasant fleece! The sweatshirt keeps you warm, it's neither too hot nor too cold. It seems solid – perfect for everyday use. This is already my second fleece from militaria.pl.
