For me, it works great as an extra pocket or organizer on a backpack :) The reinforced compartment keeps its shape well, even when full. The support cords are thin and do not get in the way during use, and the inner Velcro allows you to attach a phone or other accessories. (In some photos, the panel is mounted on a Guardian backpack)

An 18.5 x 12 cm compact admin pouch crafted from robust Cordura. It's designed to carry essential equipment and small accessories.
The main compartment, partially padded, is secured with a YKK zipper. Upon opening the pouch, cables hold the walls at a 90-degree angle, preventing the contents from spilling out. Inside, there's a compartment with a loop sewn onto it to hold items like a marker. Additionally, the pouch features a transparent protective film for maps or notes. The top flap is lined with soft Velcro, allowing for expansion with additional organizers.
On the front, a large Velcro panel is sewn on, enabling the attachment of Morale Patches or additional equipment. The pouch is compatible with the MOLLE/PALS mounting system, offering the versatility to attach it to a tactical vest, belt, or backpack.
