I bought it with the thought of transporting food in a pannier. It works great, when unfolded it can serve as a mat and you can safely put it on the ground without worrying about getting it dirty. Besides, despite the declared capacity of 5.8l, in my opinion it holds about 3-4l. It's easy to slide into any free space in the pannier, and it adapts to the shape. An additional plus is the pocket/cover. The price could be lower, but I would definitely buy it again.
