Helikon Essential Kitbag 2.5 l - Tiger Stripe (TB-EKB-CD-62)

This is another interesting project. I bought it with the intention of carrying minimalist equipment to prepare boiling water: the MSR Windburner, a spork, a coffee dripper, containers for coffee and tea, etc. It would be perfect if the bag wasn't quite so heavy.

The bag surprises with its capacity – it is bigger than you would expect from the pictures. It is solidly made, the zippers run smoothly, and the buckle is strong and durable. Numerous pockets and compartments allow for versatile use of the bag. I am currently using it as an additional pocket for my backpack, where I keep a gas stove, cooking accessories, and some spare small items. I hope it will soon also work well as a shoulder bag.

A great solution. I consider it a good alternative to the classic canteen pouches with a cup, which usually have small side pockets fastened with Velcro. In this case, the pockets are much larger, have compartments, and allow you to better organize small items.

The bag is quite comfortable. Its size easily fits binoculars and a few small items. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it fits well against the body.

A functional pouch that I currently use as an extra pocket for my backpack thanks to the molle system. It’s very spacious and allows you to organize small items well using the internal pockets. It’s also great for short trips—it easily holds a one-liter bottle and a few smaller items.

Everything is fine, the quality is at a high level. Very spacious and has small dimensions. The shoulder strap is great for carrying. Multifunctional. Works well for everyday use.

The bag works perfectly—you can fasten it to your backpack as a side pocket or carry it on your shoulder. I use it as my main EDC bag for forest outings: it holds a knife, flashlight with battery, water bottle, and fire-starting accessories.

Amazing product. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The material is very durable. It doesn't lose its quality after washing. Money well spent. The bag is comfortable and roomy, and the pockets are very functional.

The bag turned out to be extremely spacious. It fits a one-liter canteen with a cooking cup, cup stand, lid, extra cup, spirit stove and fuel, as well as cutlery. You can attach an extra pouch on the front, stash a saw in the rear pass-through pocket, and attach a large knife to the MOLLE system. I recommend it!

A very good alternative to the Helikon waist bag. It's spacious and durable—it's tempting to fully fill it with EDC items. The material even withstands minor accidents—no abrasions are visible.

This is another successful purchase; Helikon has done a great job as usual. No problem fitting a canteen with a cup, a folding stove, and many other items needed for short outings.

The bag is very well thought-out – although it doesn’t look big, it holds a lot of things. A Pathfinder bottle or canteen fits perfectly in it. I attach it to my backpack as a set for water and food, or I use it every day.

The Helikon Essential Kitbag 2.5L deserves special recognition! Its solid construction and good quality materials make it durable and resistant. It easily fits the most necessary items, and its small size makes it perfect for daily use. It's great for organizing small things. I'm impressed with the quality and possibilities of this bag. I sincerely recommend it!

In my opinion, it's the perfect choice for a quick trip to the woods. You can easily attach it to your backpack. The Pathfinder canteen set fits it perfectly.
