A lightweight and comfortable shirt crafted from stretchy, quick-dry fabric for versatile use, ideal for activities both outdoors and in urban settings.
The Defender Mk2 shirt is primarily intended for uniformed officers but also suits active individuals who value high quality and practicality. Its relaxed fit works well with movement anatomy, low-profile ballistic vests, or IWB (Inside Waistband) holsters.
The shirt's breathable and light material ensures optimal performance on warm days. Mesh panels beneath the armpits enhance air circulation under the shirt. The ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) for the Defender Mk2 shirt is >30.
A loop is stitched onto the button placket for conveniently hanging glasses. A small stiffener beneath the collar in the front prevents rolling.
The shirt features four pockets positioned at chest level:
- two primary pockets with Velcro-closure flaps, accessible from the top,
- two Napoleonic-style pockets behind the main ones, secured with a light, durable zipper.

The shirt is comfortable and dries instantly, made of very pleasant material. It looks great, is also very practical thanks to features like the pockets and underarm ventilation, so it's definitely worth recommending.

This is already my fifth Defender Mk2 shirt. It seems to me that the Tropical line has slightly shorter sleeves than the Gentleman line, or maybe it's just my item. The shirt works great during various outdoor activities. For hot days, it's the best shirt I've had. This version traveled with me about 1000 km on a cycling trip with camping. I highly recommend it!

The shirt looks very good and is breathable, but the material could be a bit more durable – there were pulled threads on the sleeve, even though I only wore it for special occasions. You can burn them off, but you have to be careful.

The shirt is pleasant to the touch, comfortable to wear, and looks great. Unfortunately, after carrying a backpack for several hours, pilling appears on the back, which should not happen with a shirt at this price. It can be removed, but the material in those places becomes thinner and less durable.

This is the best shirt I have ever had. It is light and breathable, and worn over a T-shirt it works well for cooler summer days. It dries instantly in 3-4 hours, and I wash it by hand. Perfect for travel or trips—it looks neat and elegant, is compact, and doesn't wrinkle, which makes packing easier.

Very good material, light and breathable. The shirt has a great cut. Size L at a height of 187 cm and weight of 80 kg fits perfectly, although the sleeves are just right. I honestly recommend it for summer.

The XL shirt fits very well, with a bit of looseness – just as I like. When worn directly on the body during July heat waves, it’s not very comfortable due to the long sleeves and dark color. But in the evenings or at night, even with a light breeze, it works great. Light rain doesn’t bother it. So far I have only tested it in the city.

Almost perfect shirt, the Tropical version is exceptionally light and breathable and doesn’t restrict movement. It’s suitable even in heatwaves – it breathes well and is almost unnoticeable. The material wasn’t damaged even after carrying a light backpack. Downsides: the shirt should have button tab fastenings on the inside of the sleeves. Four pockets are a great idea, but because the material is thin, they are suitable only for light things like documents, banknotes, a ticket, pen, plasters, string, or a pack of cigarettes. The Helikon logo label under the collar scratches the neck a bit, but it can be easily removed. Overall, I highly recommend it, size L fits perfectly for 180 cm and 90 kg. I plan to buy other Defender MK2 versions.
