Helikon Bushcraft Haversack 8 l bag - Shadow / Grey

The bag was bought for my wife, who works as a tour guide. It is perfect for storing various guide-related small items. The only requirement was that it be black. Just like me with my black and green bag, my wife complains about the small fastener on the flap – a bigger one would be more practical. Other than that, she is satisfied with the purchase.

The bag is perfect for everyday use at work. It easily fits all the little things like keys, phone or food. I really like the combination of green and black. I’m taking off one star because of the small clasp on the flap – you can get used to it, but it still doesn’t suit me completely. Overall, the bag is excellent.

As usual, Helikon did a great job – the bag is very well made, fits a one-liter bottle, but a 1.5-liter won’t fit. I have been looking for a modern solution in a vintage style for a long time, and this bag is the perfect choice. Great for work and one- or two-day trips. The ideal work bag – it has exactly as much space as you need. Great color (gray-green) and very good material. It fits a water bottle, a second breakfast, and various EDC items like a power bank. You can attach a Velcro organizer (e.g., M-Tac). You can run a paracord with a stopper through the PALS system, which helps with protruding sides of the main compartment under the flap.

Really great product. The material and workmanship are flawless, that's obvious. I want to point out a very clever idea. On the sides, I attached two keros pouches, which fit this bag perfectly—better than other pockets I have plenty of. I attached a small first aid kit to the front. Very useful during a short drive out for coffee in the countryside, when I don't want to take a large backpack. It has a rigid shape, which is an added advantage. In summary, it's a really useful gadget.

This is already my second haversack. The first one, in earth brown, is for the forest and trips, and I carry the black one every day, even to work. The bag is small and compact, but very capacious. A large number of zipped pockets is a huge plus – valuables are safe, and the way the main pocket closes becomes likeable over time. Very practical pocket for a bottle, two loops for keys or other accessories. I also bought a velcro panel to better organize my small items and keep everything under control. The strap is comfortable, though it could be a bit softer and fit better.

The bag is perfect for everyday use. At first, it was supposed to be used only in the car, but its size and functionality made me use it daily. It easily holds all the necessary things – I was worried about the lack of a zipper in the main compartment, but the most important things, like documents and keys, have their place in a zipped pocket. The main compartment is perfect for the rest of my stuff. The material and workmanship are top-notch, as you would expect from Helikon. I highly recommend it.

Great bag for trips. Its size is perfect for taking all the essentials – for more gear, I would still choose a backpack. At first, I thought the clasp was the weakest part of the bag, but I got used to it over time.
