I bought Helikon BDU MK2 pants because I couldn't get the tried and tested Helikon UTP PolyCotton Canvas models. After testing alternatives and reading reviews, I chose these. Overall, I am satisfied – they are comfortable, have spacious pockets, and are made from good fabric. I chose the standard size L and it was correct – I easily adjusted the waist using the straps, and shortened the legs while maintaining the style. I recommend them!
Helikon BDU MK2 Pants - Shadow Grey
A contemporary take on traditional uniform pants, crafted for both resilience and comfort. Composed of a tough blend of cotton and polyester, they incorporate a robust RipStop weave that effectively guards against wear and tears.
Thoughtful Pocket Layout
The BDU MK2 design includes seven functional pockets: a pair of classic inset hip pockets with reinforced edges, two rear pockets with Velcro fastenings, two large cargo pockets with button closures, and an extra smartphone pocket located at the front.
Adjustments and Additional Reinforcements
A buttoned fly provides both durability and reliability. The waist fit is adjustable using straps. Nylon tapes at the ends of the legs ensure secure attachment to either the leg or boot. An additional fabric layer on the knees and seat improves resistance to intense wear.

I recently took the Helikon BDU MK2 – wz.93 Pantera to the mountains and they worked great. They are comfortable, have practical pockets, reinforced knees, and the legs stay in place well. They perform excellently in rough terrain and during outdoor activities.
-
The pants are very good, both in terms of quality and functionality, but for the material, which is largely plastic, I can only give 3 stars. At higher temperatures, your legs sweat like in cheap work trousers. I miss the previous materials with at least 80% cotton.
-
The pants are made of high-quality RipStop fabric, which makes them durable against damage both during outdoor activities and everyday wear. They have numerous pockets in various sizes, allowing you to carry essential small items. Adjustable drawstrings at the waist and cuffs allow you to tailor the pants to your figure and preferences.
-
The pants have a very well-fitted cut and have been thoughtfully designed in terms of functionality. The legs are slightly tapered, but you can get used to it. The pockets are practical, especially the side cargo pocket. The button-fly is an advantage – a zipper can sometimes break. The material is durable. I highly recommend them.

Solid cargo pants in the best possible camouflage. Very good quality and high wearing comfort. This is already another pair of these cargo pants that I have bought, and again I am very satisfied.
-
These are classic cargo pants from our Polish brand Helikon. Very solid workmanship, typical pocket arrangement like in BDU trousers. Wide cut. The material compared to, for example, Texar WZ10 is thinner, but it seems strong.
-
The pants are very well made, I have no quality complaints. However, on the black fabric, hair and dust are very visible and stay even after using a lint roller. I haven't noticed this problem with the green version.
-
These are my first cargo pants and I really recommend them. They are comfortable, sturdy, and have enough pockets. The drawstrings at the cuffs work great. I will definitely consider buying another color.
-
The pants are made of very good material, but I have concerns about the sizes – I ordered my usual M and they were clearly too big, while S turned out to be too small, even though the difference should be minimal.
-
The pants are solid and as described. However, it's worth remembering that Helikon sizing varies depending on the model – what fits in BDU may not fit in another style. Delivery and return service was flawless. I recommend.
-
The pants are well made, but the buttons came off quickly (probably because of my 'tactical belly'), so I had to sew them on myself. The cargo pockets are spacious enough to fit even small purchases (bananas in the photo for comparison).
-
Compared to the previous BDU1 Helikon model, these have slightly narrower legs at the bottom, so they are no longer as wide; the fit resembles that of the Pentagon BDU. There is now an additional small pocket at the front, the same as in the Pentagon BDU. Unfortunately, the side mini-pockets, which distinguished the BDU1 and were very practical, have been removed. The hand pockets could be deeper (maybe it's just my pair). Currently, BDU2 is an average pair of cargo pants, nothing special.

The pants are well-fitted and thoughtfully designed; the legs are a bit tapered but you can get used to them. The pockets are very practical, especially the cargo ones. The button fly is a plus, because a zipper can sometimes fail. The material is very durable. I recommend them!

The material seems a bit thinner and more comfortable than in the SFU Next PolyCotton Rip-Stop, which I find stiffer. The legs are noticeably narrower, but there's still comfortable room in the thighs and crotch. I'm quite sentimental, as I bought my first woodland pair as surplus in 1993. I recommend them.
