Edelrid Boa Gym Dynamic Rope 9.8 mm 35 m - Oasis

A single dynamic rope designed to stretch and absorb the forces exerted on a climber's body in the event of a fall. Providing a high level of safety and protection, this type of rope is ideal for mountaineering, alpine tourism, mountain rescue operations, high-altitude tasks, and particularly for sport climbing, trad climbing, ice climbing, and mixed climbing.

The Boa Gym model is notable for its lightweight, compact 9.8 mm diameter, and double braid construction. The unique Sports Braid technique gives the rope a uniform surface along with exceptional resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage.

Utilizing Thermo Shield technology in the manufacturing process, the fibers in both the core and braid are consistently heated and stabilized. This provides the rope with flexibility, ensures it handles smoothly, prevents shrinkage, and allows for seamless passage through belay devices.

The 3D Lapcoiling packaging method winds the rope at the factory in a manner that avoids twists. Consequently, the rope is ready for immediate use upon removal from the packaging, eliminating the need for unwinding or straightening beforehand.
