Underquilt Glow -2 deg. C is an exceptionally light and warm underquilt for a hammock. It effectively wraps and protects against cold. It performs well even in winter. Designed for use in three seasons, from fall to spring. The model weighs only 525 grams, making it an excellent choice for those seeking gear with minimal weight.

The filling consists of 300 g of Polish natural goose down with a fill power of 750 cuin. The comfort temperature is -2 deg. C, and the limit temperature is -9 deg. C. Goose down is the most efficient and lightest insulator, characterized by excellent loft, which is crucial for maintaining warmth.

It's important that the down filling the Underquilt Glow comes from recycling. It is obtained from products whose operational standards require replacement with new ones. Before reuse, the down undergoes a thorough sanitizing and cleaning process using biodegradable washing agents. Ultimately, the clean, sanitized, and dried down is selected and supplemented to maintain a fill power of 750 cuin.

The outer material is ultralight nylon with a micro Rip Stop weave. The fabric provides adequate durability and breathability. It is dense enough that the down does not penetrate through it, even after prolonged use. The nylon is coated with a hydrophobic DWR coating (Durable Water Repellency), which prevents water absorption by the fabric and down. Water beads on the surface of the material and flows freely off it.

One side of the underquilt is dark green, which blends well with the surroundings. The other is orange, which helps draw attention. The underquilt can be used on both sides, depending on needs.

Thanks to its specific design, the Underquilt is suitable not only as an underquilt but also as a comfortable sleeping bag, topquilt, quilt, or an additional insulating layer for a sleeping bag. The special quilt shape maximizes the insulating properties of the down. H-shaped cross-section down chambers (the so-called warm seam) eliminate cold spots, i.e., areas without insulation, thereby increasing the insulating properties of the underquilt.

In areas protecting the chest, shoulders, and head, the width of the Underquilt Glow is 140 cm, with chambers shaped like rectangular cushions. This prevents the down from shifting to lower parts of the quilt, ensuring that the torso and head are always well protected. The narrower part, designed to protect the legs, has a special, longitudinal chamber shape, ensuring optimal warming and use of the down.

The underquilt can be quickly and conveniently adjusted to any hammock. The set includes two shock cords (1.25 m) with tensioners equipped with self-locking clamps. This allows effortless adjustment of the underquilt while already lying in the hammock. When not using the hammock and planning to sleep on flat ground, e.g., under a tarp, the Underquilt Glow can serve as a sleeping bag or topquilt. Simply tie the shock cords around the mattress and attach them to the tensioners to secure the quilt from shifting.
