Underquilt Glow -2 deg C is an exceptionally lightweight and warm underquilt designed for hammock use. It envelops you snugly and shields against cold temperatures, suitable even for winter conditions. Crafted for 3-season use, it spans autumn to spring. Weighing just 525 grams, it is perfect for those seeking the lightest gear.

The filling consists of 300 g of Polish natural goose down with a loft of 750 cuin. The comfort rating stands at -2 degrees C, with a limit of -9 degrees C! Goose down remains the most effective and lightweight insulating material, noted for its excellent elasticity. This crucial attribute is key to retaining warmth.

It's noteworthy that the down in the Underquilt Glow is recycled. Sourced from products where replacement is warranted, the down undergoes deep cleaning and decontamination before reuse. All washing is conducted with biodegradable detergents. The clean, disinfected and dried down is then selected and replenished to ensure a resilience of 750 cuin.

With its innovative design, the Underquilt serves not only as a sleeping pad, but also as a versatile sleeping bag, topquilt, quilt, or simply as an extra insulating layer for a sleeping bag. Its special shape optimally leverages the down's thermal properties. H-section down chambers prevent cold spots—areas lacking insulation—greatly enhancing the pad's insulation capabilities.

Covering the chest, shoulders, and head, the Underquilt Glow spans a width of 140 cm with pillow-shaped chambers, preventing down displacement to the quilt's lower sections. Consequently, the torso and head always receive optimal protection. For the leg area, a special longitudinal chamber design ensures maximum warmth and efficient down utilization.

The exterior is made from ultralight nylon featuring a micro-ripstop weave. This fabric balances strength and breathability while being dense enough to prevent down leakage, even with extensive use. A DWR (Durable Water Repellency) treatment repels water, causing it to bead off the surface rather than being absorbed by the material and down.

One side of the bolster is dark green, camouflaging well with natural settings, while the other side is orange for greater visibility. The bolster can be reversed depending on your immediate needs.

The underquilt adjusts quickly and easily to any hammock. Included are two expanders (1.25 m) equipped with self-locking tensioners, enabling effortless adjustment while comfortably lying in the hammock. If not using a hammock and sleeping on a flat surface, like under a tarp, the Underquilt Glow can become a sleeping bag or topquilt. Simply tie the expanders around a mattress and engage the tensioners to keep the quilt secure.
