Underquilt Glow -12 deg. C is a lightweight and extremely warm underquilt for hammocks. It provides excellent cold insulation, making it suitable even for frosty winter nights. It's designed for three seasons, meaning fall, winter, and spring. The model weighs only 800 grams, which makes it an excellent choice for those seeking ultralight gear.

The underquilt is filled with 550 g of Polish natural goose down with a fill power of 750 cuin. The comfort temperature is -12 deg. C, with a limit of -19 deg. C. Goose down is the most efficient and lightest insulating material, offering very good resilience. Resilience is key to retaining heat.

It is worth noting that the down filling the Underquilt Glow comes from recycling. It is sourced from products that require replacement after use. The down undergoes a process of deep disinfection and cleaning, using only biodegradable detergents. Once the process is complete, clean, disinfected, and dried down is selected and replenished to meet the 750 cuin fill power standard.

The outer shell is made from ultralight nylon in a micro Rip Stop weave. The material offers optimal durability and breathability while being dense enough to prevent down from piercing through and escaping, even with prolonged use. The nylon is treated with a hydrophobic DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellency), which prevents both the fabric and down from absorbing water. Water beads on the surface and rolls off freely.

One side of the underquilt is dark green, blending with natural surroundings. The other side is orange, making it more noticeable. The underquilt can be used on either side, depending on current needs.

Thanks to its unique design, the Underquilt can serve not only as an underquilt but also as a comfortable sleeping bag, topquilt, blanket, or an additional insulating layer for a sleeping bag. The quilt's special shape maximizes the insulation properties of the down. The structure of the H-shaped down chambers (known as warm seams) eliminates cold spots, areas without insulation, which significantly enhances the insulation parameters of the underquilt.

The areas covering the chest, shoulders, and head of the Underquilt Glow are 140 cm wide with chambers shaped like rectangular pillows, preventing the down from shifting to the lower parts of the quilt. This ensures that the torso and head are always well protected. The section intended for leg coverage features a special elongated chamber shape. This construction ensures optimal insulation and down usage.

The underquilt can be easily and quickly adjusted to fit any hammock. The set includes two expanders (1.25 m) equipped with self-locking tensioner clips. This allows effortless adjustment while lying comfortably in the hammock. If the hammock is not in use, the Underquilt Glow can serve as a sleeping bag or topquilt. Simply tie the expanders around a mattress and attach them to the tensioners to secure the quilt from sliding.
