The backpack is very spacious and sturdy. A big advantage is the integrated helmet holder and the opening "window," which allows easy access to the contents without having to remove things from the top. There is a zippered pocket on the flap, from which things may fall out when the flap is closed with buckles — it's best to unclip it and set it upright, or simply be careful. Inside this pocket, you'll find another, smaller zippered pocket. If you purchase and attach side pockets, the backpack's capacity increases even more, though when fully packed, the whole thing becomes quite wide and a bit heavy. I definitely recommend it.
The Centurio IV backpack is part of the MMPS (Multi Mission Pack System) series, offering a 45-liter capacity and crafted from tough, abrasion-resistant 1000D Armadura material. Its design provides comfort even during prolonged use.
The main compartment is accessible both from the front via a zipper (FA - Front Access) and from the top, allowing you to quickly check contents without unpacking the entire bag. MOLLE/PALS-compatible straps are situated on the front and sides, enabling easy attachment of extra gear.
Equipped with a ventilation channel on the back panel, the backpack enhances air circulation for comfort, especially on extended treks or in warm climates. The backpack supports hydration systems, ensuring easy access to fluids. A hidden mesh pocket on the front flap stores a helmet or jacket conveniently, while a pocket for a rain cover is located at the bottom.
Adjustable shoulder straps and waist belt allow personal fitting to the user’s body. Side compression straps tighten the backpack to keep the weight close to the back, improving control and stability. Support comes from a removable aluminum frame positioned directly against the back.
On the front, a velcro panel enables attachment of patches or emblems like national flags, unit symbols, or Morale Patches. A transparent pocket on the backside of the flap is intended for an ID badge.
Located at the top, a robust transport handle facilitates easy hand-carrying.
