Bennon Terenno High Shoes - Green. This is my third purchase of Bennon Terenno shoes, and my second pair in green. The shoes are used very intensively outdoors: in forests, on gravel, and often in wet conditions. The latest pair has some changes, in my opinion, for the better. The shorter rubber toe cap protects similarly to the previous version, but it doesn’t cause creasing of the leather part of the upper, so there are no cracks. The patches have been replaced with thermal prints, eliminating areas that could get accidentally snagged. The manufacturer’s impregnation is still present, so I don’t have to do it myself. I keep coming back to Bennon because I can’t find other options that are as well-designed, available, and made of leather. They provide ankle support. Durable. Not “futuristic,” not “just for show,” not “dedicated” boots—just boots! They have what boots for forests and gravel need, plus new technologies, e.g., Vibram. The photos show one shoe after three years of intensive use vs. a shoe after three weeks. No additional impregnation. Deliveries from Militaria (?). As usual. Next day, delivered to a parcel locker. Honestly, it’s surprising that it works so well.

These boots are an interesting option for walking in more difficult terrain. They resemble trekking shoes more than typical tactical footwear, so their adaptation to terrain requirements is at a high level. I've heard various opinions about their light weight, but in my opinion they are not lightweight – a single boot weighs about 680g. Although that's not very much, the first impression is of a solid construction and certain heaviness, which is due to the durable, thick Vibram sole with a deep tread. The boots are factory-impregnated, but this protection is not particularly long-lasting, so it's worth giving them extra protection after purchase. A practical solution is three lace hooks on one side, which makes them easier to put on and take off. After several months of use, including in winter, nothing has come unglued. Currently, I am very satisfied with them.

I've been using them for a few weeks. They are not suitable for winter; at -4°C, if you stand at the bus stop for 20 minutes, your fingers start to freeze. However, if you keep moving, you won’t get cold; they're optimal down to about -7°C. The body is a bit stiff—takes some getting used to and breaking in. They seem sturdy (so far that's my impression), and they're great in bad weather. They breathe decently and don't get sweaty. So far, I'm satisfied, but I wouldn't consider them for winter, which is a bit disappointing.

The shoes are very comfortable and, as trekking shoes, exceptionally sleek. As a woman, I really appreciate the fact that they're not heavy or clunky. They're very comfortable to walk in, and the sole really cushions any unevenness in the ground. The sizing is standard – I took a size larger because I like using extra insoles. However, that's not necessary since the shoes themselves are extremely comfortable! I highly recommend them!

At this moment, I am satisfied with these shoes. They fit much better than standard military boots, have a typical outdoor sole, and are solidly made, although they are a bit heavy. The set includes two extra pairs of laces. The insole length in size 42, according to my measurement, is 27.5 cm, whereas the manufacturer lists it as 27 cm—it's worth paying attention to. I can’t assess their durability yet, as I’ve used them for too short a time. They are made of fairly smooth nubuck and come with factory impregnation, but in the future, it’s better to buy an additional impregnation product for this type of leather when the original one wears off.

The shoes are very well made and look great. They're not too heavy, and the size is standard. The package arrived quickly, although the packaging could have been better—the important thing is both shoes made it to the destination.

Purchased in June 2024. At first, very comfortable, but after a few lighter hikes, it turned out that one of the shoes near the toes is either shorter or curled under, causing pressure and discomfort (even though the size is correct). They're rather heavy, so I'll skip them for demanding hikes. On the plus side—they haven't soaked through so far, they stabilize the foot very well, and don't slip. Lots of advantages, but the discomfort and tired foot rule them out for longer trips.

Great shoes. I admit this is my first nubuck model, so maintaining them is the perfect lesson in patience for me. But it's worth it, because after walking about 50 km in the heat, my feet didn't sweat and I had no irritation. The sole absorbs shocks very well, and despite being sturdy, it allows you to feel the ground well – this gives better balance. The shoes are massive and hard on the outside, but soft and comfortable inside. I think they suit every type of foot—I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly, while others mentioned they're also great for wide feet. It's worth investing in a dedicated brush and special wax and impregnant for nubuck, and first check how to properly waterproof this type of leather, because although it's more durable than suede, it's easy to damage. Insoles as described. I am very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend them.

The shoes look excellent – both in terms of quality and appearance. It's also worth highlighting the affordable price and great comfort. Since my husband started wearing them, he hasn't chosen any other shoes. They work great even in freezing weather. I highly recommend them with a clear conscience.

It's a disaster – I've never had shoes with laces that don't hold at all and untie after just a few steps. I have to tie them around my ankle and make an extra loop, because with normal tying they unravel right away. Very uncomfortable solution.

These are the best winter boots I’ve ever had. They're great not only in winter conditions but also in all harsh weather. They are very comfortable, don’t let water in, and are easy to clean. Living in Iceland, I can’t imagine life without them. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone!

The shoes survived a year of intense hiking in the mountains of New Zealand, including climbing on rocky terrain. They're comfortable, stable, and don't slip. They work better in cooler conditions. After 8–9 months, I replaced the insoles because of a hole at the heel.

Shoes bought in spring 2023 already have cracked leather at the front near the rubber guard and are starting to leak. I only used them a few times on gentle trails in the Sudetes and Silesian fields—mainly on dry paths. They were properly maintained. At first, I was delighted, but unfortunately, at some point, the leather didn't hold up.

The footwear works great on forest trips. After waterproofing, the leather has a slightly black tint, which I actually like. Good cushioning. At this price, it's a successful purchase.

The shoes are very well made, the size matches the chart, and they come pre-impregnated from the factory, which is a big plus. The Bennon brand speaks for itself. Now it's just a matter of waiting for frost to test them better.
