Bahco Laplander Folding Saw and Fixed Blade Knife Set

Very lightweight and handy set, well made. Haven’t tested it in the field yet, but it makes a positive impression. Worth considering for camping and trips.

The knife is very sharp. I've accidentally cut things with it more than once; recently, while cleaning it, I stained my shirt, which immediately got cut. You have to be careful with its sharpness. The saw is also very good – light, handles thicker branches efficiently. Using it is a pleasure. The set is really great!

Aesthetically made, neat and lightweight set for the forest. Works perfectly (I keep it in my bike panniers – it’s helped me cut fallen trees many times). No complaints on single trips, plus it's at a good price. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent, inexpensive set of basic field tools. The saw handles firewood preparation much better than an axe, is compact, and the non-slip handle allows you to work in gloves and rain. It keeps its sharpness for a long time. The knife is a classic Bahco version of a Mora: sharp, comfortable in gloves or in the rain. I also use it for renovation work – it’s suitable even for tougher tasks. Easy to sharpen.

Great, compact saw – ideal for your pocket, cuts perfectly. The knife, although fairly thin for an outdoor model, is very effective at cutting. Its quality is impressive. After intensive whittling, it was still so sharp that it could easily shave hair off my leg. I didn’t expect such a knife to keep its edge this long! I highly recommend this set!

The set is great and available at a very attractive price. Initially, I considered buying a folding saw from another brand, but this one turned out to be much cheaper. When I saw the Laplander at a friend's place, its workmanship, capabilities, and price convinced me to buy – BAHCO LAPLANDER was the perfect choice, and the knife set option tempted me even more. The knife is basically a Mora – regardless of the name, it cuts great and is very sharp. Fits the hand nicely. The saw has a very well-designed shape and is absolutely top-notch – cutting takes so little time that you don’t even get tired. I always carry them with me because they are so compact.

Really nice set. The saw cuts great, considering its size. The knife is made of stainless steel, and strongly resembles the Mora Companion, also with a rubber handle (though a different pattern). The blade is a little thinner than that of the stainless Mora Companion and its length is similar to the thinner variant of the MC made of carbon steel. The blade is also just a tiny bit shorter. The set is definitely worth its price, especially when on sale — it’s amazing!

I recommend it. The saw is very comfortable and sharp, and easily handled even thicker branches. When folded, it takes up little space and is lightweight. I’ve also used saws from supermarkets, but none were as effective — with this one I barely got tired, even in the heat and with really big branches. The knife is also very solid.

The knife and saw meet the expected quality. The knife is very sharp, during the "tomato" test it had no problems at all, and the saw handles every type of wood equally well. I recommend it and rate it 4/5 – the only downside is the saw opening button, which could be bigger because it's hard to use with gloves. Otherwise, no complaints.
