The belt is made of solid materials. When worn on the hips and loaded with equipment (without suspenders), it holds up well and doesn't cause discomfort. My only comment is its rather large circumference range—I have to tighten it to the maximum for it to fit, so only the buckle is visible. It fits well over clothing. The adjustment range is roughly from 90 to 200 cm.
