Protektor Grom Black boots

Basic, lightweight urban footwear purposeful for military and police.

The boots replicate well-known patterns of tactical footwear and are equipped with:
- high leather upper finished with a soft velour collar,
- a frame made of cowhide grain leather filled with nylon,
- flexible sole with a protected profile for efficient and confident movement on urban surfaces - cobblestones, asphalt, concrete as well as gravel. The edges of the sole provide stability when walking on stairs, ladders and edges,
- stiffened leather heel and toe protects against painful bruises,
- the high sewn-in tongue that makes it difficult for water to penetrate the shoe as a result of splashing.

The leather of the main part of the boot is cowhide, characterised by high elasticity and resistance to abrasion. Inserts of impregnated nylon reinforce the entire construction of the boot. The high sewn-in tongue makes it difficult for water to penetrate into the boot as a result of splashing. The back of the upper has a 50mm collar covering the calf - made of velour.

The heel is protected by an additional, stiffened layer of leather and an overlapping rubber sole to prevent heels from bruising. A similar approach is applied to the inside of the boot to protect the whole foot. This solution makes it more difficult for foot injuries to occur by protecting the edges of the foot from direct impact on kerbs, protruding pieces of armour and even larger stones or roots.

The PU/PU sole, which is self-cleaning, is made of polyurethane, which ensures adequate resilience and resistance to abrasion, and does not react with oils, greases or diluted acids and bases. The sole has anti-electrostatic and anti-slip properties. The material and shape of the tread combines good traction on slippery surfaces with the flexibility of the sole for dynamic running, including cushioning from sharp edges and stealthy ascent. The 13 mm high heel provides stability on stairs and ladders. The sole is attached to the upper by direct injection moulding.
